Genuine Ray-Ban replacement lenses, matched to your frame

Scratched, worn, or just fancy a change? Replace your Ray-Ban lenses with genuine ones — or upgrade to polarised, mirrored or Transitions. Whether you wear a vintage frame, Wayfarer, Clubmaster, Aviator or a current-collection pair, we'll match new lenses to your exact model. Fit them yourself, take them to a local optician, or let us fit them for you.

Genuine Ray-Ban replacement lenses for the frame you already own, supplied as a matched pair with the correct Ray-Ban etchings and a certificate of authenticity from Luxottica. Give us your model code, colour code and frame size above and we order direct from Ray-Ban against those exact numbers.

What they cost

  • Non-polarised: £60
  • Non-polarised with mirror: £70
  • Polarised: £80
  • Polarised, graduated: £90
  • Polarised with mirror: £100
  • Transitions: £100

Add £12.50 to any of those and we fit them for you. Fitting yourself is free, and our guide to fitting Ray-Ban lenses at home takes it model by model.

Are lenses still made for my frame?

If your Ray-Bans are under two years old, a like-for-like replacement is very likely. Older than that and it depends on the model. The long-running shapes (Aviator, Wayfarer, New Wayfarer, Clubmaster, Justin) stay in production for decades and are rarely a problem; the seasonal and limited models are the ones that disappear. Either way we check before anything is ordered.

You are not limited to the tint your frame came with. Most models can be re-glazed polarised, mirrored or light-reactive, so a pair of Aviators that started out green can come back polarised brown if that suits you better.

If you cannot find your codes, our guide to finding your Ray-Ban model number shows where they are etched. If you are weighing up cheaper alternatives, we have written about genuine against compatible lenses and where each makes sense.

If Ray-Ban no longer make your lens

It is not the end of the frame. Where the original lens has been discontinued, a lens can be cut to the frame instead. It will not carry the Ray-Ban etchings and is not sold as genuine, but it fits properly and costs a great deal less than giving up on the glasses. Send us the model code and we will tell you what we can do and what it will cost before you commit. The same goes for frames that are decades old; see repairing discontinued and vintage Ray-Bans.

If you need your prescription in them

The lenses on this page are non-prescription. Your own prescription in your Ray-Bans is a different lens with a page of its own: Ray-Ban prescription lenses, from £119. Genuine Ray-Ban Authentic single vision lenses, cut and glazed to your frame, with 100% UV protection, a scratch-resistant hard coat and Ray-Ban anti-reflective included. Benjamin Myers, a dispensing optician registered with the General Optical Council, checks the job against the frame before it goes to Ray-Ban.

While the frame is open

If the lenses have gone, the rubbers usually have too. Ray-Ban replacement parts covers arms, nose pads, screws and temple tips, and if the frame itself needs work rather than parts, that is our repair service.

What we need from you

Three details so we order the right lenses

Add these to the Replacement Lens Details boxes above when you order. They're printed on the inside of your frame's temple arm.

  1. Model codee.g. RB3025
  2. Colour codee.g. 001/3E
  3. Frame sizee.g. 58☐14 — some frames are one size and won't show this

Not sure what yours are? Email us a photo of the inside arm and we'll identify it for you.

Choose your lens type

Know your model and the lens you'd like? Add your details above and order — we take it straight to Ray-Ban, with no waiting on confirmation. Not sure which lens suits your frame? Just ask us.

How it works

Once you order, your genuine lenses are supplied direct from Ray-Ban to match your model — usually 5–10 working days, arriving finished and ready to fit. If we hold your lenses in stock, they're dispatched the next working day, and any Next Day Delivery you've paid for applies the moment they reach us.

Choose “Sunglasses UK to fit” at checkout and we'll email you a Royal Mail returns label — send us the frame and our workshop fits the lenses for you. Prefer to do it yourself or use a local optician? Choose “Customer to fit” and we'll send the loose lenses. You may also want replacement screws or a precision screwdriver for fitting.

Common questions

Are these genuine Ray-Ban lenses?

Yes. Every lens is an authentic Ray-Ban component ordered directly from Ray-Ban — never an aftermarket copy. Each pair carries the correct Ray-Ban etchings and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

I know my model, colour code and size — can I just order?

Absolutely. If you have your model code, colour code, size and the lens type you'd like, add them to the Replacement Lens Details boxes and place your order — we take it straight to Ray-Ban, with no waiting on confirmation.

Can I fit the replacement lenses myself?

Yes. Choose “Customer to fit” and we'll send the loose lenses for you, or a local optician, to fit. Prefer us to do it? Choose “Sunglasses UK to fit” (+£10) and we'll email a Royal Mail returns label so you can send us the frame.

What information do you need to order my lenses?

Three details, printed inside your frame's temple arm: the model code (e.g. RB3025), the colour code (e.g. 001/3E) and the frame size (e.g. 58). Add these to the Replacement Lens Details boxes when you order. If you're unsure, email a photo of the inside arm to ben@sunglassesuk.com and we'll identify them.

How long do replacement lenses take to arrive?

Genuine Ray-Ban lenses are ordered in to match your model and usually take 5–10 working days to arrive finished. If we hold your lenses in stock they're dispatched the next working day, and any Next Day Delivery applies once they reach us.

Do the lenses come as a pair?

Yes — you receive two lenses, both with the correct Ray-Ban etchings, plus a certificate of authenticity.

Which Ray-Ban models can you supply lenses for?

All of them — including Aviator (RB3025), Wayfarer (RB2140), New Wayfarer (RB2132), Clubmaster (RB3016), Justin (RB4165), Round Metal and Hexagonal frames, as well as vintage and current-collection models.

What if my chosen lens type isn't available in my colour?

Most lens types are available right across the Ray-Ban range, so for most orders there's nothing to think about. Occasionally the colour code you enter is only produced in a different lens type — for example, you've chosen polarised, but that colour is made as non-polarised. If that happens, we'll get in touch before your lenses are ordered with your options: upgrade to the polarised version, or pick from the colours available for your frame.

Can I cancel my order once it's placed?

Because Ray-Ban lenses are ordered in specifically for your frame directly from Ray-Ban, orders can't be cancelled once placed. All fittings and repairs are carried out at the customer's own risk.

Terms & conditions

Sunglasses UK reserves the right to refuse to fit replacement lenses where the fitting process could affect the integrity of the frame.

As all Ray-Ban lenses are custom items ordered directly from Ray-Ban, orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

All fittings and repairs are carried out at the customer's own risk.

In placing an order you accept the above terms.

Good service

The lenses are perfect. However, when I ordered them, paying a premium for prompt delivery,I was not told that these were out of stock and therefore delivery took a while.

They were fantsatic. They communicated all along the way. My lenses were not done by Ray Ban anymore, I sent my glasses to them (free post) and they ordered differnt colour lenses for me. I was going to fit myself BUT they did it for me and the glasses came back like new. Very well wrapped up, in a Ray Ban box, bubble wrapped inside and outside of box AND they gave a new lense cloth cleaner with it. Now thats real service and above and beyond my expectations. Would recommend to anyone and would use again(if I had to, hopefully not! 😆)
