Oakley Meta are the smart glasses built with Meta — Meta HSTN and Meta Vanguard. They take their own lenses and are priced separately from the sunglasses range.
Worth checking before you order: Oakley Meta HSTN is not the same frame as the standard Oakley HSTN (OO9242), despite sharing a name. If your frame has no electronics in the temples, you want the standard Oakley lens pages instead.

How it works
Once you order, your lenses are ordered in from Oakley to match your model — usually 5–10 working days, arriving finished and ready to fit. If we hold your lenses in stock they are dispatched the next working day, and any Next Day Delivery you have paid for applies the moment they reach us.
Choose “Sunglasses UK to fit” at checkout and we’ll email you a Royal Mail returns label — send us the frame and our workshop fits the lenses for you. Prefer to do it yourself or use a local optician? Choose “Customer to fit” and we’ll send the loose lenses. You may also want a precision screwdriver for fitting.
Common questions
Are these genuine Oakley lenses?
Yes. Every lens is an authentic Oakley component ordered direct from Oakley through our authorised dealer account — never an aftermarket copy, and never a third-party lens sold as Oakley. Every order comes with a certificate of authenticity.
I know my model and colour code — can I just order?
Yes. If you have your model code, colour code and the lens you would like, add them to the Replacement Lens Details boxes and place your order — we take it straight to Oakley.
Can I fit the replacement lenses myself?
Yes. Choose “Customer to fit” and we send the loose lenses for you, or a local optician, to fit. Prefer us to do it? Choose “Sunglasses UK to fit” (+£10) and we’ll email a Royal Mail returns label so you can send us the frame.
What information do you need to order my lenses?
Two details: which model you have — Meta HSTN or Meta Vanguard — and the colour code printed inside the temple arm. Each Meta model takes one lens size, so there is no size to give us. Add these to the Replacement Lens Details boxes when you order. If you are unsure, email a photo of the inside arm to ben@sunglassesuk.com and we’ll identify them.
What is the difference between Prizm and standard Iridium?
Iridium is Oakley’s mirror coating over a conventional tint — it cuts brightness and gives the lens its finish. Prizm goes further: it is tuned to lift the specific colours that matter in one environment, so detail on a road, a trail or a fairway reads more clearly. Prizm costs more, and not every frame is made in every Prizm tint.
Do the lenses come as a pair?
Yes — Oakley Meta frames take two separate lenses, and you receive both, with a certificate of authenticity.
How long do replacement lenses take to arrive?

Which Oakley Meta models can you supply lenses for?
Meta HSTN and Meta Vanguard. Worth checking before you order: Oakley Meta HSTN is not the same frame as the standard Oakley HSTN, despite sharing the name. If there are no electronics in the temples, you want the standard Oakley lens pages instead.
What if my chosen lens is not available for my frame?
The Meta range carries fewer lens options than the sunglasses lines, and they differ between the two models — Meta Vanguard is Prizm only, and Transitions is Meta HSTN only. If the lens you have chosen is not made for your frame, we get in touch before anything is ordered and set out what is available — you can switch lens, or we refund you in full.
Can I cancel my order once it is placed?
Because Oakley lenses are ordered in specifically for your frame, orders cannot be cancelled once placed. All fittings and repairs are carried out at the customer’s own risk.
