The genuine Oakley earsock and nose pad kit for the Flak 2.0 (OO9295), supplied through our authorised Oakley dealer account. One kit contains a matched pair of ear socks and the nose pad, so the whole contact surface of the frame is renewed at once.
Ear socks and nose pads are the parts that wear first, because they are the parts doing the work. Oakley make them in Unobtainium, a synthetic designed to grip harder as you perspire rather than slide — which is why a tired, glazed set is worth replacing rather than living with.

Which Flak do you have? Flak 2.0 and Flak 2.0 XL are different frames, and Oakley's own part numbering for the sock kits does not map neatly between the two. Check the code inside your temple arm before you order — this kit is for the OO9295. If it reads OO9188 you have the XL, which also has its own parts page. If it reads OO9271 you have the low-bridge fit of the Flak 2.0. Tell us what yours says and we will confirm the right kit before anything is ordered.
Fitting: this is the one part we would honestly tell you to do yourself — the ear socks slide off the temple ends and the nose pad lifts out, no tools, about a minute. Choose Customer to fit and we post the kit out to you. If you would rather not touch a frame you care about, choose Sunglasses UK to fit (+£10) and we email a Royal Mail label, fit it in our UK workshop and post the frame back.
Stock and delivery: parts we hold in our UK lab are dispatched the same day when ordered before 3pm. Anything not in stock is ordered from Oakley in Italy and takes 5–7 working days to reach us before we send it on — if you have paid for Next Day Delivery, it ships that way the moment it arrives. Everything comes in Oakley packaging with a certificate of authenticity from Luxottica.
